Announcing: The Christopher G. Freeman Tribute Scholarship
In celebration of Christopher Freeman, we’ve created a long overdue Scholarship Fund through the NAU Foundation in his name and need your help to make the Chris Freeman Tribute Scholarship a reality.
In honor of Christopher Freeman, the Freeman Tribute Scholarship will provide deserving students with financial assistance towards an education at Northern Arizona University. Students whose lives have been touched by cancer and whom display an aptitude for leadership and dedication towards academics may apply.
Christopher Freeman was not only a founding father of the NAU Delta Tau Delta chapter and Association of University Residence Hall (AURH) President, he was the kind of friend that made every moment memorable with his comedy, charisma and charm. He was a tremendously cherished friend and a tremendous leader on the NAU campus.
Now, what brings a great idea to fruition is action! That’s where you come in! We’re asking for you to take action today. Please help celebrate Chris Freeman by donating to his Scholarship, forwarding this website to friends of Chris, and spreading the word about the Freeman Tribute Scholarship!
The goal is to raise $15,000 by October 31st in order to fund the first scholarship for the 2009 Spring semester. Your contribution would be sincerely appreciated!

Stock Donation Instructions
Shares may be electronically transferred to the Northern Arizona University Foundation’s Wells Fargo account via the DTC system. The value of each gift for tax purposes is determined by taking the means of the high and low trading values of the shares on the day they are received in the Northern Arizona University Foundation’s account multiplied by the number of shares donated.
